why shosay exists.

I'm really big on helping people who are just getting started in their career. In 2008, I was the 10th employee at Eventbrite, where I first got inspired to help small businesses. Then I went on to be the founding engineer at Reforge, where I fell in love with helping people learn from those who'd already done it.

With those lessons, I founded Casting Call Club, a platform for aspiring creators to collaborate, which has grown to 3M people. From there, I created a school, Closing Credits, to help those creators level up their skills.

Shosay came out of wanting those creators to be able to show that work. I think sharing what you've made, imperfect or not, is a beautiful thing, and that the world needs a lot more of it to feel connected and supported.
